Andrew brings extensive experience working with founders, boards and investors across a wide range of technology sectors and industry domains. His advisory work centres on helping hard-science and engineering-led ventures translate innovation into sustainable commercial growth.

Prior to a plural career served as one of the most senior executives for one of the world’s most successful global technology companies. Core background of innovating from idea to mass market deployment, having worked with scientists from Bell Labs, University of Auckland, Imperial University, University of Oxford and University of Cambridge. Helped deliver to consumers 3G and 4G mobile, wireless power for electric vehicles, improvements in healthcare via use of Artificial Intelligence amongst others.

Operated in diverse technologies including mobile radio technologies, mobile software and middleware, communications hardware, IOT, sensors, wireless power and AI

Joanne leads Scotchergill, the company’s Ecological, Social and Governance arm dedicated to nurturing nature in the community. Jo received her MSc in animal behaviour from Exeter University and had many years of work with wildlife rescue centres

Jo founded WildChiswick the London wildlife community group in 2021, which she Chairs.

Joanne is also the author of the Friends of Snout children’s book series, published by Gildrew Limited. The stories aim to inspire young readers to connect with nature and care for the world around them.

Joanne was recently publicly recognized as the recipient of The Sir Stamford Raffles Medal from The Zoological Society of London.
